TrustBible Privacy Policy

TrustBible keeps account data limited to what is needed to sign you in, deliver security email, and preserve the reflection and prayer features you choose to use.

Where your words go

  • Questions you ask are sent to our AI model provider (Agnes) so it can write the reflection. If you are not signed in, the conversation stays in this browser, and our database keeps a record that you asked (count and time), not the question, unless you share the answer or start a 7-day plan from it. If you are signed in, each question and answer is saved to your account so you can find it on your other devices.
  • Prayers you write on Pray are sent to the AI provider. Your request and the prayer it writes are stored on our server under an ID derived from your browser, or under your account when you are signed in, so your saved prayers stay available. They are not public unless you create a share link.
  • If you turn on audio, the answer or prayer text is sent to Microsoft's speech service to read it aloud.
  • Journal entries in My Walk are stored on our server under an ID derived from your browser, or under your account.
  • Prayer Wall requests and testimonies that you post are visible to other users.
  • Not published yet: how long our AI provider keeps the text it receives and whether it may use that text to train models. Until this page says so, leave out names and details that identify you or other people.
  • Deleting a conversation in the app also deletes its saved copy on our server and turns off its share links. To remove anything else, such as stored prayers, journal entries, or your Prayer Wall requests and testimonies, email support@trustbible.org.

What we collect

Email sign-in stores your email address and password hash. Google sign-in stores your Google account identifier, email address, and profile image URL. Reflections, prayers, journal entries, community posts, subscriptions, and security diagnostics are stored only as needed to provide the product.

How we use data

We use this data to authenticate you, deliver transactional email, enforce free limits, process payments, keep the community safe, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing

TrustBible uses Google for sign-in, Resend for email, Waffo Pancake (our merchant of record) for payments, an AI model provider (Agnes) to write reflections from the questions you send, and Microsoft's speech service to read answers and prayers aloud when you turn on audio. We use PostHog for product analytics. It receives page visits, product actions and device information; form inputs, questions, answers, journal and prayer text are masked. Session recording is disabled. PostHog is set to discard your IP address and stores one first-party cookie (ph_..._posthog) with a random analytics ID. To limit free use fairly, the server counts free questions per day for your IP address, stored only as a one-way hash. Your browser keeps a random identifier in local storage so your history stays with you without an account. These processors receive only the data required for their function. Community content that you publish is visible to other users.
