Deuteronomy 17

No blemished animal may be sacrificed. An Israelite who worships other gods is put to death, but only on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Cases too hard for local judges go to the priests and the judge at the place God chooses. If Israel sets a king over itself, he must not multiply horses, wives or gold, and he must copy God's law and read it all his life.
