Reflection
Wisdom asks for God's help and good counsel without demanding certainty about every future outcome. promises that God gives wisdom "liberally" to those who ask, "and upbraideth not." You do not have to earn the right to ask.
says safety comes "in the multitude of counsellors." God often answers prayer for guidance through wise people who know you and will tell you the truth. A decision made alone and in a hurry is usually harder than it needs to be.
reminds you that prayer can carry the anxiety of the decision itself. Peace does not always mean certainty. Sometimes it means being settled enough to take the next faithful step and trust God with what you cannot predict.
Prayer
Lord, I need wisdom for this decision, and you promise to give it generously. Show me what matters most here. Lead me to wise counsel and give me the humility to listen. Calm the anxiety that wants an answer right now, and give me peace to take the next step and trust you with the rest. Amen.
