John 11
Lazarus falls ill and dies before Jesus arrives in Bethany. Jesus tells Martha, I am the resurrection and the life. Seeing Mary's grief, Jesus weeps. At the tomb he calls, Lazarus, come forth, and the dead man walks out. The miracle moves the council to plan Jesus' death.
