Psalms 144
A psalm of David that blesses the LORD as the one who trains his hands for battle and is his fortress and deliverer. David marvels that God takes notice of man, whose days are like a passing shadow, and asks him to come down and rescue him from foreign enemies. It ends with a picture of a blessed nation: strong sons, full barns, peaceful streets, happy because the LORD is its God.
