Bible verses about fear
When fear feels louder than faith
Let God's presence speak louder than the threat.

Reflection
The Bible repeatedly pairs fear with God's presence and help, not with a denial of danger. In God does not say the threat is imaginary. He says, "I am with thee," and then piles up promises: I will strengthen you, help you, uphold you.
is honest about the valley. The shadow of death is real, and David still walks through it, because "thou art with me." Courage in Scripture is rarely the absence of fear. It is fear that keeps walking because someone walks beside it.
adds that the spirit God gives is one of "power, and of love, and of a sound mind." When fear makes everything loud and urgent, that sound mind is a gift to ask for: clear enough to take the next wise step.
Prayer
Father, you are with me, and I need to hear that again. You see what frightens me and you do not look away. Strengthen me where I feel exposed, hold me up where I feel weak, and give me a sound mind for the next decision. Let your presence be louder than the threat. Amen.
Pause and consider
Write the fear in one sentence, then write beside it.
